Shipping and Returns

DELIVERY NOTICE (December 2021)

Global shipping carriers are experiencing severe delays currently due to a backlog of deliveries as a result of Covid disruptions at ports around the world. We are working hard to fulfil orders as quickly as possible and select the best delivery options to ensure you get your orders on time. Please be patient with us during this time. 

 

STANDARD SHIPPING

We offer FREE standard shipping on all orders over $100 worldwide*.

For orders under $100 the delivery fee will be auto-calculated at checkout based on the order weight and destination.

Orders are dispatched from Norway or the United States and typical delivery timelines are:

  • 3 - 5 business days within the US
  • 5 - 10 business days for Norway, the UK and the EU
  • 10 - 15 business days for the rest of the world

All provided timelines are estimates only. A more accurate delivery timeline will be calculated at checkout when your address is provided, but we cannot guarantee any arrival dates.

Tracking information is provided for monitoring when your order is fulfilled. Note that some shipments can be delayed in customs or at the local postal service if the DDP service is not used.

*There are some countries that we cannot ship to as a fully tracked/guaranteed service is not available. Please refer to the list at the bottom of the page.

 

EXPRESS SHIPPING

Express Shipping is available for some destinations. All available options and delivery timelines will be listed at the checkout based on your delivery address.

Please note that Express Shipping is only available on weekdays, so orders made on weekends will be shipped the following Monday. 

 

TAXES & DUTIES

If you are ordering from outside Norway or the United States then your order may incur import duties and/or taxes. These are levied by your government and the actual amount due will depend on a number of factors.

For International shipments, we offer two options in general:

  1. Delivered Duties Unpaid (DDU) - You are responsible for managing customs clearance processes and the associated costs when the package arrives at the border of your respective Country.
  2. Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) - We manage all customs clearance processes for you. All taxes, duties and charges will be covered up front to guarantee a fast and convenient delivery.  

 

Some Country/Regional Specifics are provided below:

Norway and United States (US):

    • No additional taxes, duties or handling fees.

United Kingdom (UK) VAT & Duties:

    • For all orders under £135 we are required by law to include VAT in the invoice and settle this directly with the HMRC. Therefore, no DDU option is available in this case. No duties are payable.
    • Orders over £135 incur VAT and Customs Duties. You will have the option to choose DDU or DDP at checkout.

European Union (EU) VAT & Duties:

    • Orders under €150 will incur import VAT but are exempt from Customs Duties. Both DDU and DDP options are available.
    • Orders over €150 incur VAT and Customs Duties. You will have the option to choose DDU or DDP at checkout.
    • VAT rates are calculated as a percentage of the taxable amount but vary depending on the Country where the goods are being delivered

Rest of the World Taxes & Duties:

    • All applicable taxes, duties and handling fees will be calculated at checkout as part of the DDP option based on your Country.
    • If you prefer to manage the process and costs yourself then you can learn more about the requirements and estimate the cost using this online tool.  

NB - Many delivery companies are introducing handling fees to recoup the costs of additional administrative work of gaining customs clearance. Our DDP option includes all of these costs.

 

RETURNS & REFUNDS

We give you a full 45 days to return your order for exchange or full refund. Return any item as long as it´s not used, with labels attached and still in original packaging. Postage will only be covered in the case of faulty goods. We suggest you obtain proof of postage on the return shipment. Due to fraud regulations we can only refund the card/Paypal used at the time of purchase.
